Wow, today is October 1st
Hard to believe we only have 3 months left in 2020.
I don’t think anyone would argue with me when I say it’s been one of the strangest years I could ever remember in my lifetime.
Anyway, I’m glad you’re here and if you’re reading this it means you have not given up and are still seeking ways to heal and improve your health.
Today, I’m going to show you one of the MOST POWERFUL SPINAL DRILLS you can do to improve the way you move.
The thoracic spine (mid back) is one THE KEY movement areas of your spine and it’s super dooper important to teach your brain how to use it correctly.
The joints of the thoracic spine can do a lot of cool movement patterns like glide, curve, bend, twist, and act like a spring.
Unfortunately, most MS therapy programs NEVER TOUCH THE THORACIC SPINE !!
However, when I start working with MS Athletes, like you, the Thoracic Spine is one of the FIRST areas I like to get moving well again and the first movement pattern we practice is an anterior/posterior glide.
The A/P glide allows our bodies to flex forward to pick things up and then stand up again with good balance.
Good thoracic gliding also helps you breathe, sit, stand, and walk better.
In this video, I will show you:
– How to flex your spine correctly
– How to extend your spine correctly
– How to breathe through your thoracic spine in order to improve core strength
